This is a trap that I found myself in. It meant that my well-being would be dictated by the response of students. If they failed to respond to me as their wise teacher, it could trigger mental turmoil. They might as well have punched me in the face.

It was only by realizing that concepts like teacher and student have no intrinsic existence (both are empty) that I could escape that trap. For me, the idea of saving people is an arrogant fantasy. So, why do I still teach? It's like falling in love, there is an urge to talk about it.
